With a background in Industrial Design and years as a designer for manufacturing companies, I’m now shifting focus to UI/UX design. The difference is actually quite small; Any job will require scope definition, setting timelines, client interactions, and creating designs. However, instead of ushering the final product to a fabrication team, my end deliverable will be in the hands of a software developer.
